PR in Pittsburgh
I had the opportunity to travel to Pittsburgh for a PRSSA firms trip. Honestly, I was extremely hesitant about going on the trip, but I am so glad that I went on it. I started my day by waking up at 4:45 a.m. to go to voluntary conditioning. At 6:45 a.m., I left voluntary conditioning to shower. This was probably the fastest shower I have ever taken because I wanted to ensure that I had time to do my hair. We loaded the bus around 8:40 a.m. and were off on an adventure. The bus was silent for a great portion of the ride. Thankfully, we stopped at a gas station where we all grabbed some form of caffeine, and the rest of the ride went by in a blink of an eye. My favorite part of the weekend was the firms' tours. As a freshman, the world of public relations is very new.
